Founder & Visionary

Built on Real-World Grit The vision for Adopt Cashless didn't come from a boardroom meeting; it came from decades of getting hands dirty in the industry. Malik’s journey began at just 13 in a tyre shop, teaching him the value of hard work early on. By 18, he was on the ground at Robina Car Wash, learning the daily operational struggles that car wash owners face. It was this early exposure that ingrained a deep respect for the operator in our company DNA.

Understanding the Business of Car Washing Malik isn't just an operator; he is a leading authority on the commercial side of the industry. During his tenure at National Car Wash Sales, he was involved in over 200 sales transactions with a combined value exceeding $150 million. This unique vantage point allowed him to see exactly what makes a business valuable. He realised that while physical assets were important, customer data and recurring revenue (loyalty) were the keys to increasing a business's worth.

Leading the Charge in Hardware & Software While managing multiple car wash sites himself, Malik grew frustrated with the "blind spots" in payment technology. To fix this, he established Tap N Go Solutions in 2019. He continues to lead this business today, supporting over 150 customers and managing 1,400+ active terminals.

It was through his ongoing work at Tap N Go that Adopt Cashless was born. By running a major hardware provider, Malik saw the gap between payment terminals and customer loyalty daily, motivating him to build the software solution that bridges that gap.

A Holistic Approach His commitment to the industry goes beyond payments. In 2021, he founded Car Wash Developers, personally overseeing the planning and construction of five greenfield projects. This means our founder understands the entire lifecycle of an unattended business—from the pouring of the concrete to the digital transaction in the cloud.

Today, Malik leads the vision for Adopt Cashless, ensuring that we never lose sight of our core mission: to build technology that solves real problems for real operators.
